So this is my first EVER competition I have ever participated on dA. *exhales really loudly* BOY this took literally a week. Not to brag, but I'm kinda proud of it (I would LOVE some constructive criticism on this pic though!). It looks like a screenshot of an anime.

Okay, maybe I should explain this pic a bit (careful this desc might be long and MAJOR SPOILERS OF THE LAST EPISODE OF GRAVITY FALLS, but if you've watched it and want to know the full story of this entry, read on).

In this particular alternate universe of Gravity Falls, when "Standford" accepts Bill Cipher's deal of sparing his brother and the kids in return for the equation to cancel the forcefield around GF, Bill sees through the two Stans' plot and catches Ford off guard. Using this surprise as an advantage, the dream demon manipulates the real Ford's hand to open and forces the deal. Bill searches through Ford's mind and Dipper and Mabel try to stop him, but to no avail. Bill finds the equation and releases all the weirdness confined in GF into the world, causing incomprehensible chaos and anarchy.

Time Baby, in the future after his molecules had gathered themselves back together, sees this as a major concern and goes back in time to stop this from happening. Since he can't go back to the point before Bill's deal was made, since Bill created a permanent time loop spreading in infinite multichotomous directions, Time Baby returned to the point AFTER Bill left Stanford's mind, left the Fearamid to spread the oddpocalypse and left the Pines family to watch the strangeness spread helplessly (Bill had kept his promise and didn't harm the Pines since he didn't see them as major threats to his world domination scheme). Time Baby offered assistance to the Pines as long as they didn't mess around with time and space.

Taking the Pines to the future with him, Stanford and Time Baby's best minds set to work to create weapons that could eliminate supernatural beings based on energy. Dream demons like Bill (in my theory) are surrounded by potential energy (which acts like a forcefield) which they use to regenerate and maintain their physical structure. In order for them to create and store this potential energy, they need a stable physical body (it's like in Minecraft where to get gold nuggets you use a gold ingot and to get a gold ingot you need gold nuggets). However, if the energy being is severely injured AND doesn't have potential energy, they cannot maintain physical stability and have to feed off their knowledge/mind in order to regenerate, which is apparently really exhausting. This is why Bill needs lots of knowledge.

Soon, weapons were created that not only harm beings of energy but also absorbing the potential energy around it in a approx. 65'6" ft (20m) radius. Each Pines member got on of these weapons (appearances uniquely varying depending on each person) and went to hunt down Bill and destroy him, founding the corporation P.I.N.E.S (Professional Incorporated Network of Eradicating Supernatural). When the Pines found Bill (and this was when they were somewhere in Europe), the demon was not expecting the weapons to be effective, only to be almost completely destroyed. In his desperation, Bill teleported away to the first place that came into mind: Gravity Falls.

The Mystery Shack had been repaired (as wished by Mabel because she promised to come back next Summer) and the unicorn magic was still active, so Bill short-circuited the magic with some gnome vomit (such ancient race respectively possesses special properties within their stomach acids) to make the magic recognise him as a "normal" thing. He made the shack his hide away in order to regenerate (regenerating using his knowledge makes him very vulnerable and he was in no shape to teleport anywhere else, so this was his best course of action). From staying inside the Mystery Shack and being unexposed from weirdness for a long period of time, Bill slowly regains his sanity.

Meanwhile, the P.I.N.E.S slowly LOSE their sanity from looking everywhere for Bill. Stanford, being the lead general of their now enforced army (Time Baby revived the people stuck in the banners and made them part of the corporation), was getting frustrated, crossing out every place Bill could be (except for GF because he though it wouldn't be logical). The P.I.N.E.S eliminate all Bill's henchmaniacs (and potential allies of Bill) just to be safe. They also take over all of the world's military force, overwhelming all the presidents, dictators and prime ministers and ruling over the globe with a strict government of anti-supernatural based laws. The Pines family and their army become blinded by their superstition and torture innocent people/creatures, thinking they are spies for Bill. The P.I.N.E.S begin acquiring characteristics of sadism, like actually ENJOYING torturing the life out of things (which sound a LOT like a certain dream demon). Anyone and anything even remotely suspicious is assumed to be related to Bill and tortured and killed if necessary.

Through his limited peepholes (most of them being erased as a law made by the P.I.N.E.S), Twist!Bill sees the work of the Pines and is infuriated of people being killed in his name (he, now having most of his sanity back, can now see the bad things he has done and differentiate what is moral and immoral). He had almost no chance in taking over the world now, since such powerful weapons exist now, and he lost interest in taking over the world during his time in the shack. He decides he must do something to fight of the Pines and return the world to what it was before, while leaving that dimension (for the greater good).

That's all I have for the story. The pic above kinda represents paragraph 5 of my little story just now. And just so you know, the little sparrow came in through the vent and was chirping randomly, looking for its mother who had flown off for food and never came back. It was old enough to leave the nest but found itself in the vent and got a liking to Bill. Bill found it annoying at first, but warmed up to it, which I find really adorable (cuz it's SO tsundere, you adorable evil tsundere cactus dorito).
