Description
In one of my stories, The Rose of Turuq, Cetus comes off as a very high and mighty god but as it turns out the more he gets prodded and the more he is around the lead character Rose the more it becomes obvious he's extremely self loathing, and only wants the approval of his father who is the god of the Oceans. Cetus himself is the god of death at sea. He was created so his father didn't have to deal with the deaths he caused, leaving the work up to Cetus. Cetus tries to come off as a terrifying god of death who devours the dead, but he kind of hates the job he was literally born to.
