In the early days of Work-Study, it was mostly based on the members of a small RPG group. Back then the cast was "rather loosely" based on the players - rather than the RPG itself - with in-jokes not really meant for the world, or possibly anyone else (as the case may sometimes be). This quickly changed, leading to the comic still running two decades later. Anyways, this time we see what might've happened if WS-Mel eventually met her real-life counterpart (who also works on a far better webcomic than mine).
