He just had to know.... Good one on that. Β Remember, the zombies are just a hazard, the real trouble concerns all the crazy survivors out there.

Amazing job on this one. His expressions are so great...simultaneously hilarious and making sure his emotions are clear. Fantastic job.

Oh wow ... love the build of the tension on this installment.Β There's so many clues to what's going on in this picture.Β The extra place setting, the bag of clothes ... not sure if they are our hero's, a curious book, the lumber and saw, and then there's the focus ... the covered dinner platter!Β

The hard shading in the last three panels is contrasting very conspicuously on my end.

Don't do it Mr. Duckems! Don't look under that dish!
Also, where'd they get all the candles are why aren't they using them more conservatively.Β I mean seriously, no one is making candles now and those a precious commodity in the apocalypse! You don't want to be forced into a supply run in zombieville just for candles.

Actually, they raided a nearby candle factory for the rather generous supply of candles you see here.Β That, or the local "Bed, Bath, and Beyond".Β
Just kidding.Β That's a good question, actually.Β Survivalists would actually conserve candles or any other lighting source instead of their lackadaisical usage seen here.Β It's interesting how you have to think of such details when creating post-apocalyptic stories.Β One of my favorite anomalies in "The Walking Dead" TV series is how many times we see well-maintained mow lawns in post-apocalyptic Georgia.Β

watch out for that beyond section. I was just nit-picking, I understand the candles were just for ambiance.
One tongue in cheek detail with zombies you often see in Pen and paper RPGs is that zombies often go about doing mindless daily task they did in life. Such as driving to work or checking the mail. So it's perfectly acceptable that some lawn care guy zombie is going about mowing and maintaining everyone's lawns.

Ehh, I don't really plan to, I'm not really a big fan of zombies, and them being massively overused hasn't helped that.
Plus I happened to see a little of the first episode, and the two cop characters (one moreso than the other) really didn't endear themselves to me.
