I like the first few sketches at the top that hold somewhat of a relation to the Amoeba Boys then slowly come down to the final design of bloo. Bloovelution!!!! XD

Ah, man, Fosters was the last really good show on Cartoon Network that ever cared about. I was never able to refer to Bloo as anything but Blooregard.

Is it bad that the first time I EVER saw Bloo, I was wondering why the hell the show was following around a kid and his pal who was an imaginary tombstone?
Coming into it, especially with the design of the Foster's House, I had this crazy thought this was going to be a deep story about a kid dealing with the death of loved ones through friends, both real and imagined.
I think somewhere that story is in there, but I never found a realization of it.

Yeah. Deeper than the show was, so far as I know... Made it disappointing. But I guess that I just carry on with my interpretation of what was going on there, and the show means a lot more than it would've otherwise.

Sometimes simpler is better. I like how you wound up with a very simple design after starting out with a very fluid shape. He kindof reminds me of an amoeba in his first stages. xD
Now you see this guy EVERYWHERE. Must be crazy to see people just walking around with your characters on their t-shirts.

Bloo is one of my favorite characters ever. For a design so simple, there's a lot of personality that bursts from it. Excellent work. I really miss Foster's.
