"It's that time of year where everyone dresses up like someone/something; go around collecting sweets; scaring people; attending costume parties; and hope you don't run into any scary, zombie clowns." (gaw, I hate clowns; undead clowns are even worse.)

I know I said the only pics I was gonna be posting for a while were just going to be entries for a Giant Collab....but, since I actually had an idea (not to mention time & patients) for a Halloween-themed pic....I figured, a small break from those contribute-collab pics would be nice.
Anyboo, This was something I thought up doing at the beginning of October, but had put if off for a while since I was working on (you guessed it) Collab Pics; Art Homework; English Essays; and long-shift weekends at my job. I did the sketch and lineart Sunday evening (after getting off of work), and did all the color little by little for 3 days, after school.
I'd imagine the Dracula-themed costume suited Grubba perfectly; since Dracula is a blood-sucking monster....and Grubba was a life-sucking monster. (although Grubba used high-tech machinery to do that, rather than fangs. ) So, for one night only, he refers to himself as "Count Grubbula". Incredibly cheesy. He's actually "fully-dressed", too....and not just a common top with no pants or shoes...as his everyday attire is. he even managed to tie his cape in a bowtie-like tie. XP

SUM XTRA INFO:
Grubba's Dracula costume (and the name "Grubbula") was inspired by Drew Carey's Dracula costume during the Halloween special of The Price Is Right. Although it aired the same Halloween one from 2013 today, I had done a sketch of "Count Grubbaula" last Halloween, but never got around to finish it. (I might post it completed next yer. :m )

Tubba Blubba was originally going to be dressed up as well....but I honestly had no idea what to dress him up as. We can just say he either doesn't like Halloween (because there are Boos involved), or he was on his way to GET dressed up, but Grubba intercepted him in an attempt to frighten him. Judging by Tubba's face, I'm pretty sure Grubba succeeded in scaring him. :V

There was originally going to be no background, whatsoever (with the exception of the Halloween 2014 title), but it looked waaaay toooooo plain. So I ended up added little "doodads" and color to the background.

ARTIST COMPLAINT:
The background color is supposed to be 70% French Gray and 90% French Gray....but it turned out looking more of a dark brown (courtesy of that horrible scanner I'm still stuck using.)

The text in Halloween got cut off a bit. I really didn't feel like rescanning it.

But anywho, that's about it. Enjoy. Now I must go get ready for Halloween, myself. If I have time before Halloween is over...I might post a photo (or two....or three.....or four) of myself in my costume for this year. If not here, you can view it on my Facebook account some time tonight or tomorrow.
