On the date of September 20th 2060 the UER invaded a multitude of neutral countries which caused many to fear a world war throughout the Galaxy. These conflicts were short and sporadic and would later be called the "Fall Wars", a series of conflicts in which the UER acquisitioned or invaded most of the neutral countries of Earth, those who didn't join the UER joined the UFN in order to remain independent or safe against the aggressive UER. Eventually at the end of the Fall Wars the colonial of the many neutral nations banded together to form the Red Star Confederation which remained neutral during the Fall Wars and declared independence from Earth and her territories.

Five years after the Fall Wars ended the UER started a reconstruction of its acquired territories on. Earth and through toy the galaxy to embrace it's newly added population. As the UER did this the UFN prepared for war by building fleets of starships and increasing the sizes of their nation’s armies, the Federal nations
