Yveltal's battle arena... well, frankly I think it's more of an oblivion or void, but still.

This battle background is SO COOL. They totally could've just made a 3D environment of the lab from the awakening scene, but instead they went and made distinct backgrounds for both Xerneas and Yveltal. Xerneas has a more life filled and bright background whereas Yveltal has a background full of dark colors and lifelessness. This background is easily one of my favorites in the series. I love the space aesthetic in the backity back with the whirlwind-like streaks of blues and purples towards the bottom. It's all so cool looking and really adds to Yveltal's image.

Okay, so, Pokemon Y. I've only played through it once, and y'know, it was fun. I liked it. The story was neat, and it was really cool seeing the jump to 3D. Really should replay Y again.
Yveltal is one of my favorite legendaries. It being the being of destruction is really interesting. It's not as grand as controlling space/time or the land/sea, but it's still really cool. I like how they incorporated the Y shape into Yveltal's design without it feeling too forced, plus the red/black is really nice. I also really like how the whole trio's shiny formes changes the black to white and the red/blue/green to a different shade. It makes them all look so cool. The trio's battle theme is great. I love how it starts off with the rumbles then goes into the melody. It's real catchy.

Anywho. hope whoever's seeing this has a wonderful whenever they're seeing this!
