The Gauntlet from Bowser's Inside Story.This game has my favorite gauntlet. Dream Team's Medley was fine, and I really liked Bowser Jr. as the secret boss, but I just really don't like most of the bosses in the run like the Pi'illodium and a few others. They're just not fun to fight. As for Paper Jam, Dry Bowser was great, but the whole Medley just feels kinda bland. No real flair to it. Now, the BIS Gauntlet? Great. 10/10. Each boss is fun and Bowser X is a satisfying challenge to wrap it all up. The remake's Gauntlet is fine, too, but not as good as the original if you ask me (especially considering I OHKO'd Bowser X at the end... yeah.)
Just had the boss theme stuck in my head, so I wound up drawing this. I wanted to get a sort of looking up angle here, and I'd say I did fairly well at it. Feel like it could be more grand, but overall I'm really satisfied with how this turned out. Took 8 separate files and a crash to get it done, but still. Maybe I'll revisit this idea someday in the future, who knows.
Anywho, hope whoever's seeing this has a wonderful whenever they're seeing this!
