Description Something I wanted to test here.

With this I wanted to try something out with some Twistable Crayola colored pencils.  With colored pencils generally they are water resistant so as a method to make something standout in a picture you are drawing I figured this would be a cool way to do make certain things in the picture stand out!

In the original picture there were pink-ish colored flower looking strands on the right side of the picture.  I wanted to use the Twistable Crayola colored pencils to draw that part of the picture and see what would happen if I used my rubbing alcohol colors over on top of them.  Too simply see if they still would stand out clearly or if it would end up being wash out a bit.

Turns out it works as I thought.  As in a good way to make something stand out!  So what this basically means even if I layer something on top of it the colored pencil marks underneath are still there.  Meaning if I want certain areas to pop up like the white in the eyes, or use black outlines around something without a risk of blending it with something or just anything of that sort it will work just fine!

I think the one change with this however is I need to do this at an earlier stage of my drawing.  At least before the intial colors but maybe even before the greyscale stage.  I still need to do a few more tests before I can see all the way.

And also with that said I'm not sure if I should finish this out.  I might just go ahead and work on the next thing instead.  Although I'm less sure of that maybe at this point.

Either way, its fun doing these things.
