Description
Veronica is technically a vampire princess, as her mother is the Gabriella queen of vampires in her home world. Veronica’s father was a human male who stole Veronica away to the human realm after her birth.

Vampires in Veronica’s home world have two forms, in one where they look human, and in the other, their lower halves are giant leeches. They made a pact with the Naga and half leech and half snake people live in harmony. The vampires must consume blood, so the queen sends her soldiers to other worlds to kidnap people, and they use those people like cattle.

Veronica also works for the Rosewind Organization as part of the retrieval division. She discovered them while she was hunting her mother’s soldiers, and they realized her connection to the current high Queen of the Realm Darkest. As she is the High queen’s half sister’s daughter.

She doesn’t need blood to survive because she’s only a half-blood. She isn’t immortal either because she was never given vampire blood. Sunlight also has no effect on her. She has red eyes, and can read the mind of a person near her, but only vaguely. It’s better for detecting that someone is near her, than what they’re actually thinking. Other agents are afraid of her because of the mind reading thing. If Veronica ever seems like a bad person it’s just because she’s being misunderstood.

Veronica and Lola are great friends, as they both value honesty and Veronica is more skeptical than Lola is, and so is helpful to her by not letting her fall for traps easily.
