Description
Shin is an enthusiastic new recruit for the hotel Albatross located “on the rind” on the edge of the Luciana galaxy. His job is to bring baggage back and forth from rooms, and entertain guests. His spunky go-getter attitude is great for zipping around and multitasking.
However, despite how cheerful and high-energy he is, he’s still rather clumsy and often makes little mistakes here and there. Shin never lets his past mistakes let him down, and always looks on the bright side of any situation. He’s quite chipper, eager to please and excite.

He is very fast, wether it be talking, walking, or jumping around.

Shin is best friends with Madigan. They hang out all the time.

When shin was young, he lived with his parents on the planet Emerald. His parents are Emerals, the only bipedal humanoids native to the planet. They are a type of alien creature who value perfection over all else. Typically meticulous, they can’t stand mess, and always try to force perfection upon each other, and other beings from all over the galaxy.

Shin’s parents didn’t plan to have him, something almost unheard of among their kind. His father was shamed by not only others of his kind, but also his own wife. Feeling that Shin was nothing more than a burden, they left him on another planet to be raised by his father’s sister in law. His brother had been disowned for running away with her, and Shin’s father hoped that by leaving him there, no one would bother him about Shin’s existence anymore.

Shin loved living on the planet Cacia. He went to school and made many friends. Once he graduated, his parents decided that it was time he returned to their world to work a proper job. As much as he tried, Shin just couldn’t fit in. Every job bored him, every friend he tried to make turned him away coldly. Shin felt defeated. It was a strange feeling for him.

Eventually when no more Emerals would hire him, he decided to look elsewhere for a job. He had heard that the rind was a shady place, but he wasn’t going to let rumors stop him. He laughed them off joyfully, and got a job on the rind of the universe, at the Albatross hotel.
