It's been a long time since I posted fan art of these boys, hasn't it?If you've seen my artwork for the longest time, you may find this very different to my usual approach. But the reason why I've done the two main characters from 'The Cramp Twins' in the style of a rubberhose cartoon is part of a pretty big project of mine. Earlier this year, I did an AMV of the show featuring the song 'Lone Digger' by the electronic swing group Caravan Palace. As I've been quite into the band for the past 6 years, it was about time that I would make a Cramp Twins music video with their blend of retro and futuristic sound.
This depiction of Wayne and Lucien is featured in a special title card used in the video. I aimed to capture the 1920s and 30s theme by showing what these characters would look like in this era. It was meant to be a collaboration, but certain circumstances forced me to adapt the characters myself.

Also feel free to tell me if I've captured the Roaring Twenties aesthetic, again this was quite a different kind of experiment for me.
