Description
This is my spriting carrer on DeviantArt and Discord. I'll explain the meaning of the sprites, from left to right.

1) Modgen Sprites
During my early days of spriting Sonic, I mostly convert sprites to modgen or make edits. That was the one thing I was good at when spriting.

2) Shimpurugen! Sprites
I decided to create a 100% custom sprite on Mr. Sonic, It had minimal shading and it does not look great when I use it for fan games and etc. Also thanks to for making the other characters in this style like Tails and Knuckles.

3) A Previously unnamed custom style
I decided to take a look at some sprites in the meantime. When I saw 's style named Genesis Revved, I saw the eyes of that style and they kinda looked off. So I decided to fix them, but while fixing them, it was inspiring me to create a much better custom Sonic that can take over the Shimpurugen Style. And thus, this sprite was born. The eyes were bugging me and I did not continue them

4) Modgen Limit break Sprites
I have learned how to add more shades to my sprites. I tried these on Modgen Sprites and now they had the HD Mania like treatment (Not really). It had some pillow shading and some other common mistakes in pixel art so It's not really perfect.

5 To 6) Kobaruto Sprites
After fixing the eyes, I finally gave it a name. I called it the kobaruto style which is named after My OC's name in Japanese. I gave it better blues and polished some of its pixels too.

7) Hue Shading 50% Mastered
After taking a look at hue shading tutorials, I decided to experiment this in the Kobaruto Sprites and It looked kinda better to the eyes. So right now it's just 50% Mastered because I performed this trick at a low palette sized sprite.

8) New Kobaruto Sprites and Hue Shading 90% Mastered
I finally redone the sprite and gave it more palettes which makes me enable to shift hues much more. I used the shape of ModGen Sonic's spines as a reference.

DO NOT STEAL AND FOR SPRITES 2 TO 8 (Except for 4) DO NOT USE IT FOR RECOLORS OR SONIC.EXE (If I'd made Sonic.EXE in this style, Do not use it for creating Sonic.exe ripoffs like Exetior, Sark, Pervision, Exphantom or whatever in this style. But I think that I'll never make Sonic.EXE in this style so that it could prevent Toxicity)
