the starga... er, shellgate used in the shellgate thursday's turtle piece. the event horizon was actually ridiculously easy to make in photoshop. had i done the math right, those chevrons would have lined up nicely with the various symbols. oh, and the texture going round the circle? just text on a path. i am a cheater.the complete piece: [link]
