Question, When you do the displace, are you displacing by itself, or a sparks layer?

Look like what? Oh, that. I just duplicated it, made a new layer filled with black, then clipping masked it. Since the black was underneath, I blurred it a bit.

I believe it was just a small hard square or circle brush mate.

If you're talking about my text in this tutorial, I'm not sure what the title text is, but the rest was all "Sans". I usually use "Sans", "Century Gothic", basically the simple ones. Nothing too fancy.
