Prompt A - Measuring the Fog
Join Blackthorn in Wintervale, Brookfell, or the Sylvangloam. By using multiple spikes and scanning the airspace at a safe distance, the professor and his team will be able to measure how quickly The Nothing is spreading! Place down the measuring tools at the edge of The Nothing. Make sure to wear a mask and to cover as much skin as you can for protection.

The spread felt like it started slow, or so many wanted to believe, but when the smoky walls grew in size and crawled closer and closer to the cities, worry began to ensue. The professor’s call reached many civilians, and luckily many came to aid. Pietro happened to be part of the batch that traveled from Rivertide towards the cold land of Wintervale, a rather harsh change of terrain. People began forming groups, be it simple pairs to larger sums, once instructions were given, each team took to travel towards the ever growing Nothing, hoping to gather enough information for the professor and his research. Pietro paired up with a local, a rather large man with a familiar air to him. The far larger man seemed equally determined yet far more courageous, it was actually kind of infections, Pietro grew more confidence as they traveled through the snowy forest.

A couple of hours went by…

Pietro set up the device given to them whilst Jason kept an eye on the ever growing danger merely feet away from them. Strange shapes seemed to form far within the Nothing, almost as though bright eyes were piercing through the thick curse. Wukon, Jason’s companion, ran up his trainer, holding tight onto the man’s clothes as he trembled in fear before climbing into Jason’s hood., Han, on the other hand, stood strong by Pietro’s side.

A call came through..

“To all teams who have successfully planted the device, please return to the meet up point, do not, I repeat, do not linger close to the wall-“ Jason got up, a finger on the little ear piece as the update came in for all teams. Jason turned his attention to the forest behind them, some echoes of voices barely managing to break through the thick foliage. “Copied, Team 5 en route-“ Wukon’s shriek made Jason’s heart skip a beat “Fuckin’ HELL-“ Jason snapped just as Wukon jumped off his secure nest and dashed behind Han. The puzzled man blinked briefly, what was altering the Pokemon so much? Wait. Jason glanced over at the device, no sign of Pietro……..oh fuck no. Jason immediately caught a glimpse of what the Pokemon were chasing after-

“PIETRO!”
