look at it this way if they rly did exist they'd be killed by the rest of the fantasy world for having the balls to think they had control over any other species. After killing off the were wolves they would be deemed a threat to the fantastical world and destroyed by a combined army of everything else. I didn't read the books I listened to the first book tape and read the big conclusion of the last one. There was no fight, they talked they gave shitty threats they left pure bullshit. Ether the cullens or the volturi should have died, preferably all of them.
It pisses me off that that shit was made into movies while epicness like Tamora Pierce is not.

The reason (at least I) use India as a girl is because in the ancient texts, "Shakti" (or the ultimate Energy that guides the whole universe, including the Gods) is female.
But India's pretty chauvinistic right now..
