Description The day was somewhat cloudy, but the weather was nice nonetheless. A smooth windy breeze swayed my cheek and body fluff. It felt pleasant and enjoyable to the touch. And I think the blue wyngling whom I have tagging along with me would agree otherwise. His cheek fluff were moving rhythmically to the delightful spring breeze. I can tell from his composed expression that he's enjoying it just as much as I am.

Earlier I asked Eppard if he'd like to tag along with me to find my hat that I lost when Matthias and I got chased by that massively large creature. Heh. I didn't exactly mention that part to him or else he would've had second thoughts. Actually... Now that I think about it, I wouldn't blame him if he would've had second thoughts about this whole thing. Anywho- I recall that it got snagged on to a branch and that it got torn. I know I could just get a new one. But Matthias' big brother, Alvern, hand-made that for me. He could probably fix it up for me if he has the materials to do it.

My thoughts soon began to wander on and about... I can't stop thinking about all of those wynglings picking on Kid after Nina left him. None of them realize that they're being the bullies themselves. They're literally being no better than he was. How would they feel if someone whom cared for them since their hatching just got up and left you out of your life?

I was so deep and lost in thought that I ended up tripping on something. "Oof!!"

"Kurt! Are you alright?" Eppard helped me up.
"Y-Yeah. I'm good." I rubbed my head while pushing my tuft back.

Eppard gave me a worried gaze in his eyes. "Is something wrong, Kurt? You didn't even notice that rock when you were approaching it."

A rock? It felt like I tripped on something else... Anyway, that doesn't matter. I shook my head trying to regain my focus. I had to give Eppard an answer. Despite that I'm positive that he knows what's been going on at The Nook as of late.
I heaved a sigh. "It's Kid. Ever since the word got out about Nina leaving him not only is he not doing emotionally well, but the Wynglings are now picking on him."

"Oh, that." Eppard already knew about it. "Yeah, it's ridiculous. I defended him against one of the Wynglings that were mocking him the other day. It's totally wrong that they're behaving like that towards him! He may have bullied others in the past, but it doesn't make it right for them to commit what he used to do!"

"Even victims can fall to taking on the role of a bully themselves." I told Eppard. I wanted to add more but I paused and held Epp back. I heard odd rustling noises coming from the bushes...

"What is it?" He asked.

I didn't answer. I was too fixated on the noise coming the nearby bush close to us. It wasn't long until the culprit revealed itself... A large Cobra slowly slithered its way toward us. It circled around us with its eyes and slit pupils constantly shifting its attention back and forth at me and Epp. Slightly distancing itself, it was in the center glaring at us.
We could run while we still can. But something told me that it would drastically make things worse. My brows lowered as I got in a defensive stance. It's clear that this Cobra isn't going down without a fight...

I gave Epp a stern glance. "Eppard, get behind me!"
"W-What? Kurt, you're not seriously thinking about-"
"Do it!!" I cut him off.

Eppard immediately went behind me like I told him to. The Cobra widened it's mouth baring its fangs and forked tongue. It hissed at me.
I paced a couple steps forward. Making my way towards the heinous yet large reptile. I briefly glanced back at Eppard who distanced himself further away from me and the Cobra.
Good thinking, though. Who knows how this whole thing is going to turn out.

Without even the slightest hesitation the Cobra plunged itself at me. I successfully evaded and launched a mean kick to the side of its mouth. To my surprise, I ended up knocking out one of its fangs. However, this sparked immediate aggravation from the Cobra. It continuously tried to plunge its body at me with full force. With each successful evasion it would try to aim for my arm or legs to get a hold of me. But I wasn't going to let this spineless reptile get the better of me!

I used a claw to dig up some of the grass in order to grab some of the soil so I could get the dirt on the Cobra! (Get it?)

Once again, it tried to launch itself at me with its wide gaping mouth. I carefully aimed and chucked the chunk of dirt into its entrance. The Cobra came to a halt when the dirt made its way into its mouth and practically going down its throat. It struggled as it tried to hack it back up. It was kind of hilarious to watch, but there was no time for laughter. This reptile needed to go! Plus, snakes creep me out...

Finally having the upper claw, I used my grabby-tail to yank the tail of the Cobra and forcing its body to lay flat on the ground.
"Hey Cobra!" I stared down at the reptile giving it a smug attitude. "Wanna go for a spin?"
I held a tight yet firm grip on the Cobra's tail. I rapidly whirled my body; successfully but gradually lifting the Cobra up from the ground it was circulating with me. Once the dizziness was beginning to set in I released the Cobra. Sending it off in a different direction.

"Woo-hoooo!" I hollered, still feeling dizzy. "Now that was quite the 'turn' of events!" I shortly began to wobble around.

"Kurt!" Eppard ran up to me and helped keep me steady on my feet. "That was incredible! Are you alright from all that spinning?"
The woozy feeling was starting to wear off. I still felt silly from all of it though. "Haha! You know it! Ahahaha!"
Epp began to laugh with me. That was definitely quite the spin. I hope I gave that Cobra one heck of a ride! Wonder where it would end up?

"Hoooo... boy." I sighed in relief. "Glad that's over with."
"Mm" Eppard nodded. "So, what now?"
"Let's stop here for the day and head back. Just to be on the safe side in case we find ourselves with similar encounters like this one."

Before we departed I faced my direction to where I saw the Cobra's fang that was knocked out. I strolled my way over and picked it up.

"Hm. I wonder if this will make a good necklace..."

Kurt fought a snake (sort of) while successfully defending it from his new buddy, Eppard. The butt-grabber is definitely going to enjoy being around Epp ^w^
