"...Fucking hell..." Another damn sleepless night for me. Figures... It's only been a good two hours as far as I can tell. Jaime, my sons, Chayo,and Rodimus are all sound asleep. As for me, it looks like I won't be drifting into slumber any time soon. Might as well take a stroll outside until I feel tired enough to get some rest.

I had to be stealthy enough to not awake anyone as I make my way to the door. This isn't the first time I left the cabin when it's this late. My youngest son, Savio, seems to have a tendency to follow me at night when he heeds that I'm no longer present in the household. I don't mind him accompanying me. Problem is he's still young and needs his rest and he could be losing the amount of sleep he needs because of it.

In a way it's not a big problem. But, I do fear the possibilities of something coming after us whenever he is at my side when I go out for my nightly strolls. My immense fear from that horrifying experience still left a burning memory...

I took a different path that I usually don't take that leads to the cabin. If anything this path is rather lengthy and just has a lot of trees in sight that tend to get in my way if I need to fly off in a hurry. Surely there won't be any need for that tonight.

I directed my gaze down at the ground as I let my legs guide me through this dark forest and allow myself to dwell deep into my thoughts for the time being.

...sigh...

"Why did she leave..." To this day I still think about her. I was crushed when Jaime informed us after she left for good. Albeit at the time I didn't want my sorrow to be noticeable. I tried to make it look I was in slight pain, but still understanding her decision.

I still lament for her... The very first Wyngro whom I saw as a little sister that I was proud to call my own. I loved her... I loved her so much that it wounds me that I never once had the chance to tell her that to her face. Sure, I was able to express it from time-to-time. But I never once said 'I love you..'

"If only I had the chance to tell you then..." I whispered to myself, "Would you have stayed longer...-"

My thoughts were completely interrupted as soon as I felt a vibration. This one was easy to recongize. I knew who it was. To no surprise, it was Savio's.
His vibration proceeds to draw near. Smart kid, and still able to keep up even when I'm way ahead of him. I'm surprised that despite my best efforts to leave the house quietly, he still detected my missing presense.

Out of no where my heart suddenly began to race so fast that it felt like I can hear drums beating so loud that I can barely think.

Something's wrong... Something is horribly wrong...

Now I'm feeling two more vibrations and the third one I'm sensing feels a lot like-

"Oh no... P-Please, no..." My heart sank at the third unfamiliar vibration I was sensing. The feeling of dread came over me. It was currently present...

"W-W-Why... is it here...?"

*snap!*

My head jerked up from a loud 'snap' that was heard far from behind. When I turned to the source of the noise I stared in shock when I realized what it was...

Savio was still walking towards my direction, unaware of what was about to collapse right on top of him...
His attention was caught when he saw a large shadow quickly casting over him. As soon as he turned he was frozen...
The tree, which was the second vibration I was sensing not too long ago was about to fall and crush my son. And it was falling at an alarming speed.

In that moment it felt like the entire world was moving in slow motion.
A scream tore through my throat as I cried out for Savio.

"I-I-I can't..." I uttered.
"I won't..." My eyes were shut, teeth gritting, and claws clutching hard against the ground.
I had to push away all my fears and tell myself that, no matter what happens to me I have to use all the energy I have in my body to save my son...! I won't let him die!!

With no time to waste I dashed towards Savio with every ounce of energy I had...! For some reason I felt faster. Like really fast! I can run, but I can also admit I don't run as fast as I do now. Whatever it is it's doing me a favor to get to my son quicker before that tree falls on top of him.

Unfortunately, I was still inches away from him and that tree was going to reach him before I could... There's only one thing left to do... I have to push myself and give it my all to launch myself right at him and get him out of the way!

As soon as I got close enough I lunged straight at him. He looked at me. Shock and horror were all I could see in his eyes. He's a smart kid... He knows what's coming...

"Forgive me, Savi...!" I exclaimed before muscling enough force in my right arm to push him out of the way and far away from me and the tree that was seconds to collapse on top of me.

I felt a wild shock surge through my entire body as I felt my left leg get caught in the tremendous weight of the tree.

Before I knew it, everything immediately went black...

The grey Wyngling sat up, rubbing his head after being pushed by his mother's vast strength. Which reminded him... Was she alright? Did she make it?

Sadly for Savio, the answer is no... His iris shrinked as soon as he looked up. Eyes quickly overflowing with tears from the sight of the large tree that fell on his mother. Paralyzed at the sight of blood that was splattered on the bark... She saved his life...

Bushes were rustling louder and louder from behind Savio. It continued to draw near until the figure revealed itself. Rin's Coatala, Rodimus, arrived to the scene...
