He gingerly held her arms that had the lantern in her paws. The overwhelming sorrow he felt already had tears escsaping his eyes. Okola looked up at Kurt, she briefly rested her head on his shoulder to comfort him. Her sudden contact brought him back for a moment as he gazed down at the lantern. He sniffled and wiped away the flow of tears. They gave each other a glance before letting go of the lantern...They watched as it slowly ascended into the night sky, joining with the other lanterns that now illuminate with the stars.
