"Aster! Arlo! I'm finally hooooome!"

Aster paused in her steps upon hearing Ryner's voice bounce off the walls down the hallway. Her strong vocals was enough to send Aster's heart a flutter, and couldn't wait to see her again. Ryner left for some time to patch things up with a friend while she was still pregnant. Aster prays that things went well with her friend and that during the time while she was away that things are alright with their egg, should she have already layed it.

Another moment could not wait, and so Aster fast walked down the halls. Anxiously waiting to embrace Ryner and possibly their egg.

"Ryner!" Aster bellowed with a wide smile. "Ryner! I'm so happy that you're- Oh!!" Aster immediately stopped herself as soon as she saw a couple of Wynglings that were running up towards her. Two, yet, very identical Wynglings one might add.
Both of them stopped in their tracks and gazed up at her with a sweet grin on their faces. One even tilting their head as they curiously examine Aster.

"Oh. Oh my. Um..." Was all that Aster could utter from the sight of the identical Wynglings. She could still feel her heart racing a mile a minute from the excitement of wanting to see Ryner. And now feeling genuinely surprised if not, just a little bit confused.

Ryner catches up to the Wynglings and sees that they're more than excited to be meeting Aster for the first time. "Oh, good! You're already here!" Ryner claps her hands together. Excited herself to tell Aster the news.

"Ryner. These Wynglings..."

"Yeah, I know! I was surprised myself that they came out as twins! Heck! Identical, even! Can't even tell them a part. I know I can't!"

"Twins?" Aster gasped.

"Well, I mean, yeah. Isn't it obvious? Then again, you just met them. But yeah! We had twins! How cool is that?"

Aster didn't know what to say. Too happy and thrilled to find the right words. Of all things, she didn't expect for them to come out with beautiful twins. She looked down at the twins whom were still gazing up at her. She kneeled and gestured her arms open, inviting the twins for a hug.
Without missing a beat the twins launched themselves at Aster nearly knocking her back, affectionately embracing her. Aster felt so overjoyed that she could cry.

"My babies...!" Aster lovingly nuzzled both of their heads. Ryner couldn't help but give a heartwarming smile at the scene. And then was reminded...

"Oh yeah! Hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty and gave them names already."

"Oh, really?" Aster raises a brow.

"Yup!" Ryner replied. "Wisteria and Violetta."

"Wisteria and Violetta..." Aster repeated the names to herself. "Wisteria and Violetta. Heheh... I like it. Very fitting. Especially for them." She caresses the twins cheeks. Grinning at them softly. "But wait... Ryner, they're identical. Which is which?"

As soon as she asked, it occured to Ryner...

"I... um... Actually, I... I don't really know." Ryner scratches the back of her head. Realizing that she forgot to at least have them wear something to allow her to distinguish the both of them. "Yikes... I honestly didn't think that through. Guess we'll uh... figure it out in the long run?" She shrugged.

Aster sighed. As silly as Ryner can be at times, she should've half expected for something like this to happen. Then again, she couldn't of anticipated for them to have twins for this scenario to occur. Ah well. In due time, they'll come to learn who is who.

An overdue response to the hatching of the girls -->Twin Flowers

Long-story short; I was heavily affected with some personal things that happened last year that pretty much killed my motivation to do much in terms of drawing, or much of anything. Can't say much has gotten better but I feel better enough to at least try and get back into the swing of things. Though, it's still going to be a rather slow road from here. And still need to get used to dA's layout...

I wanted to at least finish this as its been put off for too long.
I've also recently acquired Clip Studio Paint (and a new drawing tablet thanks to a friend), and I'm still playing around with it to get adjusted to the tools. It's coming along and I really do like it so far. And I'd say I did alright with this image in CSP, all things considered.
