Some info about these characters:

Ranya is innocent and feels guilty and profusely embarrassed when she accidentally loses her control of her catastrophic gas. unfortunately, her guts are incredibly unstable and just a faint whiff of her farts can be lethal. Bethany on the other hand wouldn't care if every human on earth succumbed to her gas. She loves crop dusting crowds of people and gets amusement out of watching people choke on her farts.

Bethany is the devil on Ranya's shoulder, knowing that their combined power could cause death on an unfathomable scale. She is constantly trying to get Ranya to fully let loose, sometimes subtly by giving her gassy foods and putting pressure on her bloated midsection. This is compounded by the fact that Reyna is a social butterfly who is magnetized towards large gatherings of people, telling herself "I can hold it for an hour or so. I really want to go to this concert/convention/shopping mall!" She drastically overestimates her ability to bottle up her farts.

They do genuinely love each other, which is fortunate considering they are two of the very few people capable of surviving the hostile conditions their gas can produce.
