Personality:
+ Amiable / Down to Earth / Thoughtful / Loyal
- Skeptical / Guarded / Plain / Dispassionate
Nadya is a simple, practical person. She’s lived off the land all her life before coming to Lumivaara, being very self sufficient as a fisher and gatherer. Nadya is generally amiable, pleasant to talk to, and calm in demeanor. She doesn’t resort to violence immediately, but she’s not against it if she deems it necessary. She is also honest and will always return a favor.
Due to her home traditions, Nadya has never left the tundra before and is therefore generally ignorant of things outside of nature. Despite being willing to learn and experience new things, Nadya is guarded and skeptical due to the situation with her tribe. Refusing to be gullible has made her stubbornly incredulous, but at the very least, she’ll hear someone out. She is not expressive and tends to be rather spartan, seeing little use in things like jewelry or luxury items that serve no other purpose. It’s hard to tell what she’s thinking as her neutral expression tends to look bored or uninterested.
History:
TL;DR
Nadya grew up in a tundra/ snow forest area to the north of Terresio where she learned to forage and fish for her tribe. Being able to gather a much needed medicinal herb during a strong blizzard lead her to be taught the magic of Druids. In the past few months, an Elder of her tribe demanded a seasonal pilgrimage go to the ancient mountain shrine of the Fae that the tribe revered and keep tradition to the Old Faith. After finding a strange deformed corpse and being dismissed by the Elder, Nadya dug deeper into the mystery, leading her to the shrine.
There she found a purple skinned, tentacle faced figure experimenting on the pilgrims, but when she returned to warn her fellows, the Elder twisted the story and forced Nadya into exile. Still intending to do something, Nadya sought help from other settlements. She learned of the city Lumivaara and the Crystal College where one could gain knowledge of strange magical creatures. Along the way, Nadya met a friendly apprentice chef named Stefan who gave her a name and has begun to help her learn more about the world outside the tundra. Now, Nadya needs to find out more information about this creature and become strong enough to bring back proof that the Elder had lied to the tribe.

Goals:
Gain knowledge on this creature and reveal the reason behind the Elder’s lies
Learn more about the world beyond the tundra and commune with nature in different places
For me: Try a druid in DnD, also to try drawing more scenes rather than just characters
Trivia:
Everything is pretty much new to Nadya but she’s willing to learn. She finds it all both interesting but terrifying at the same time
Trinket: a mysterious wooden doll that when held brings back fond memories - Nadya found it on the body of a traveler who seemed to have starved or frozen to death out in the tundra. Maybe she can find out it’s strange origins as well.
- For someone who's not particularly good at expression or persuasion, Nadya tends to try and negotiate.
