Tawawert --The Egyptian goddess of childbirth, Tawawert is depicted having the body of a hippo with a crocodile's tail.
This image was done for the 8th San Francisco Olympians Festival in which the ancient Roman, Egyptian, and Babylonian gods are on display. Playrights create plays based off of specific subjects and artists create images based on the deities or the play.
