Description
This was a Christmas present to my Mother for last year - I've only just been able to scan it as she is pretty protective of it and won't let it leave the house (my scanner is usually at my Dad's place). The whole piece was drawn and shaded with a mechanical pencil, and I spent a few days completing it...it's one of the first times I used a blending stick to get the shading nice and smooth (which the scanning has promptly destroyed ). I like how it turned out a lot...the flow of the coat took a long time to get right but I think it was worth it.
