"Hey Ruko! Where do you think you're going? What, with your ugly short black hair? You will never fall in love! Even mistletoe can't help you!"
"Yeah! What are you going to do? Blind them with your hideous blue eyes?"
Ruko kept running, not daring to look back. She looked around in a panic before her eyes rested on a door around the corner.
She quickly ran inside and locked the door behind her.
She heard the girls outside snicker and laugh before leaving.
Ruko looked up at the shelf. It was full of treasures for her archaeology class. There was always one she couldn't reach. She didn't know why, but she was always tempted to get it. Almost like it was destiny.
She looked around the room before finding a small ladder.
Grabbing it, she leaned it against the sturdy shelf.
She climbed up, determined to find what was at the top.
Finally reaching it, she found a small orb. It was brown, with gold carvings it it. Looking closer, it was like some kind of strategy guide for chess. Curious now more than ever, she reached out and grabbed it to get a closer look.
It began to glow and expand in her hands. She yelled and fell backwards, landing with a loud thud. She looked up in awe as it began to form a person.
There he was. He had short black hair like her, but he has red eyes.
"Hmmm... Not too bad, I guess... So you're the one, huh?"
Ruko tilted her head.
"Eh? I am so confused right now..."
"Look honey, I don't have time to explain so just say I do and let's go."
"Huh?"
"Say it already! Say 'I do'! I dunno, like your getting married, or something."

Suddenly a ring appeared on his finger, and a collar appeared on Ruko.
A red highlight appeared in his hair and a blue highlight appeared in hers.
