Geresh stopped in front of a beautiful forest. Sunny blinked.
"Are we not going inside?"
"We can't... Well, I can't."
"What do you mean?"
Geresh reached out an poked the air. A purple barrier flashed. Sunny tilted her head.
"How can others be behind this barrier if even YOU can't enter it?"
"These barriers are meant to keep us from seeing each other."
"Then how am I supposed to get in there?"
"You are part human. This was designed to prevent 'monsters' from entering. I assume your father didn't plan for a hybrid with a human."
"You know, you seem to know a lot about my father... Have you two met?"
He froze before answering slowly.
"You... Could say that, yes..."
Sunny shook her head. Things were getting more and more confusing.
She thanked him and left to enter the forest.
After traveling for a while, she came into a clearing. This looked like the perfect place for someone to live! It had a cave go hide in and a gorgeous pond and- something in the pond moved. Sunny jumped at this and watched in awe as a beautiful woman jumped out of the water. She kind of looked like...
"A mermaid?!" Sunny gasped.
The mermaid seemed to hear her and panicked, accidentally shooting a small spark.
"She's a pyro as well...?"
She watched on in disbelief as the mermaid regained control of herself.
"Hello there! My name is Sunny. You're a... Mermaid and a pyro correct? I am a human and a crypt fiend! I believe that we are called 'hybrids' or something like that, right?"
The mermaid smiled and responded quietly.
"Yes. My name is Yah Weh. It is very nice to meet you, Sunny."
"Hey do you know a man named Geresh?"
"Hmmm.... I don't think I've met him, but I do know that he is part angel and part demon. He also had a strange past with the humans..."
"Really? What kind of past?"
Yah Weh shook her head.
"I didn't hear the details. I just know it was really bad."
"Oh... That's awful... Wait, why did he trust me, knowing that I was part human?"
"Well, since he is part angel and part demon, I guess he could see your soul and deemed you as a good person. If someone like him trusts you, I guess I can trust you too! Let's be friends, okay?"
Sunny smiled and nodded.
"Sounds good. Say, do you know where anyone else lives?"
"Now that you mention it... If you go through the underwater cave here in this pond, you could probably find an... Interesting man. He is half vampire and half zombie."
Sunny mulled it over in her head before nodding in thanks.
"I guess I know where my next destination is... And who knows? Maybe I will found out something new."
