“Ralsei, where are we going?”

“Just trust me! Keep your eyes covered!”

“Haha, okay, okay.”

Eventually, you felt Ralsei slow to a stop. You felt his soft hands pry your hand off your eyes. Blinking to adjust to the light, you gasped.

A beautiful cake was sitting on the table! It was white, with a red border and a gorgeous cursive icing writing on top that read ‘Happy Birthday’.

“I hope you like it… I worked really hard on it!” Ralsei blushed.

You couldn’t help but smile at his flustered expression. “I’m sure it’s delicious. Would you like to share it with me?”

He smiled sweetly, nodding in agreement.

He cut two slices, putting them on paper plates. Sitting next to you, he handed you a plastic fork.

“Dig in!” he smiled.

You cut a small piece and ate it. Immediately, it’s sweetness overtook you. It was absolutely delicious!

Ralsei chuckled, pulling out a napkin and dabbing your cheek.

“Sorry, you had some on your cheek.”

You blushed, thanking him quietly.

After scarfing down the rest of the piece, Ralsei pulled a present out from beneath his chair. He handed it to you and was practically bouncing from excitement for you to open it.

Giggling at his enthusiasm, you opened it to see a red scarf.

He suddenly became very shy, hiding his face in his own scarf. “I, um, sewed it myself…”

You wrapped the scarf around your neck and hugged him close.

“Thank you, Ralsei. I love it.”

He tenderly hugged you back, nuzzling your neck with his nose.

“Happy Birthday. Thank you for being you!”
