And now, a demonstration of Josh’s weapon: The Adversary Ability Assimilating Apparatus. Or the A4 Device for short.

The device works similar to Kirby’s signature inhaling ability. The device vacuums up an enemy or object (like the torch above) through the retractable tube, and the user gains a Copy Power (like Fire), complete with a matching hat. As the comic illustrates, some powers are safer to have than others.

The A4 was invented by Professor E. Gadd while he was in the process of creating the Poltergust 3000. Josh met with the professor on his travels. Having no need for an ability-copier, Gadd sold it to Josh and used the money to purchase new materials for the Poltergust.
