Time Wars
It was the year 2027 when a young hot shot physicist by chance found a reasonable way to time travel. Five years later he invented the time machine to use his algorithm he then took the first trip in time. He was successful but sadly his findings were used for things he never wished. The crumbling American empire decided it would be for its best interest to use the time technology to go back and fix itself. In other words they tampered with history and created an offshoot time-line. This is what transpires after.
The Time machine roared back into existence after having spent five years throughout separate points of American History to help recover its ancient glory. The captain of the mission steps off the time machine into the new launch pad from the new existence. What had been a crumbling old reused NASA launch pad was now a shiny new launch pad that looked like it never even had been used.
"Well shit looks like we did something right boys" Captain Sanders says to his crew.
Not even a minute after he turns his head back to the new scenic NASA building does he see the soldiers pointing their guns at him and hears.
"Who in the world are you and how did you get here" from a Military Police officer.
