So when I looked at the black and white reference picture I had for this long blaster rifle, I found that it really just looked like a conventional gun. A quick trip to Wookiepedia and I discovered that it is just a conventional gun- an MG-15 with pretty much no modifications at all. That's probably why it made only a single appearance in the first movie and then was never seen again. Anyway, I removed the loading bolt and front crosshairs and added an Imperial symbol on the handle to make it look slightly more 'blaster'-ish. Just try to ignore the large ammo drums on the sides.
