“In the traditions of the Navajo people of south-western North America, these are a tribe of hairy, headless, maneating monsters who were believed to be born to virgins who indulged in unnatural acts. Though they resembled the European Blemyahs, the Theelgeth were far more vicious, and preyed upon human beings. They are related to the Binaye Ahani and the Tsenahale with whom they form the tribe of monstrous creatures known collectively as the Anaye.”
