I got a set of Star Wars Starship Battles miniatures a while back and one of the ships was a Republic Cruiser: [link]Note that it is painted all red. All well and good for a diplomatic vessel (like Episode 1), but not for combat (like the Clone Wars) Therefore, I repainted it to match the designs used for combat (Wookiepedia was my reference).
Interestingly, I found out that the red stripe on Republic ships is a stripe of diplomatic immunity, which I find odd for a war vessel. All I can figure is it allows more criminal charges to be placed on the enemies? Any other theories are welcome!
