It was a 'who would win' discussion with Batman vs Wolverine. And one Batman fan claimed that batman would find a magnetic weapon.
To which an Xmen fan replied: 'Adamantium isn't magnetisable. The only reason Magneto can, is because he's the master of magnetism. He can also magnetically manipulate gold. Which is a non magetic metal'
So, I don't think Iron Man can demagnetise his armor

But in iron man 3 the combine like three different things in a movie: extremis, the mandarin and the lots of armors
But he could create more for the avengers 2 xD
There is a video in youtube made by a company analising wolverine and batman just look for wolverine vs batman I guess you can finf it there are real people performing the fight xD
And in the comic avengers vs x men tony fight with emma frost and magneto and he keep his armor save with magnetic waves or something like that and his mind with telephatic shields xD
