Active: Water Fury-  Using his element of water, Riel can shoot boiling water to deal damage, this skill has a 4 minuets cool-down before he can muster the energy to use it again.

Riel Mostly appears as the friendly type, he would often trust people who are on his team but it really depends on their looks and personality as he is quick to judge; he would fight alongside people he appreciates, will give them a hand whenever and however they will need, help in what he can, laugh around with and overall enjoy the time together; however those he dislikes- he would still fight alongside them if there is no choice but he would generally be more quiet around them, won't trust them as much and won't go out of his way to help them with no reason or benefit for him.
as the world is not black and white, people change and so does his opinion over people
he won't bother to be competitive with people he doesn't care for, even if he appears rude or mad, it doesn't mean he doesn't hold dear the other person, it's all a matter of chemistry and experiences together.

Story: Riel comes from a small community of a number of families in the rivers of Patreeon; they are known as the shut in merfolk as they never leave the peaceful glowing water of the river. fed up with the war and the feuds and the need for land, the people of this community took to the water and refused to go out on land. other species and even other mermaids even started to wonder if they could ever take on another form and go out of the water at all at this point. Riel is part of the Xanta-fe family, a name that is known to be part of this shut in community
but he never felt like he belonged to the rest. unlike them he was curious, adventurous, always wanted to learn more, see more, take part in the war if needed instead of running away and hiding underwater, he heard that there are different kinds of water worldwide, but didn't know how to even begin to imagine how they would be like

As he felt different from the rest, he kind of always knew one day he would depart; unlike others he used to train, study and develop different skills, see how far he can go, how different he can be, how excited he can get in the boring world he was now part in

one day rumors started to make it even to the small shut in water community, of strange things happening in other islands, things that can impact everyone eventually
it seemed to Riel that the root of all stories was in Elledolias. and things sounded very serious, he knew it was the time for him to depart, the merman always knew and felt he was meant for something bigger, and it was time for the community to show they were better than that.

first thing he noticed as he started his life outside of water, before leaving their island was how different the situation has gotten, many people were actually immigrating away, life was only going to get more exciting for him from this point onward.

instead of being introverted and hidden away waiting for things to happen, he would be part of those who make a difference and protect the world he loves, underwater and out.
