I see them as friends, who do lots of stupid and silly stuff together. No shipping.

Well, the difference between the FNAF animatronics and other robots like WALL-E or EDI is that the animatronics, with a few exceptions, only are animate because of the souls possessing them.
WALL-E or Bastion or Mettaton all have their own individual personalities given by their own AI's. The animatronics are just puppets meant to dance to a specific pattern with a very basic intelligence outside of the possessors.
Not only that, but shipping together a bunch of vengeful killer robots kind of ruins the horror of the situation. That is the purpose of FNAF, isn't it? To incite fear? Giving these animatronics, who you are supposed to be afraid of, romantic relationships, a human-like trait, makes them a whole lot less frightening in my opinion. Imagine if Freddy Krueger or Leatherface suddenly started being shipped together? I'm noticing an unfortunate trend in the horror fandom.
