To produce the orbs i used photoshop, just used scattering feature with a white brush, and a size jitter. Thanks for the constructive critisism, much appriciated, thanks for your ideas on editingthe particle orbs.

I love what you got going on here. Great selection of colours, sleek curves, and a theme reminiscent to a galactic birth of a butterfly.

Personal critiques:
I am uncertain of what fractal program (if any) you had used, but I would personally use an alpha map and give the sleek design/ribbon/object a depth of field blur, but keep the rest as is (no blur).
Also, editing the particle orbs. I know that this is verticle mirror, but I would radomize the orbs in both size and quantity. Perhaps a slight "whirlwind" effect of particles? Not too drastic, though. The central object is the main focal point.

This is one of your better pieces that I have seen in your gallery. Keep it up.
