Glowing Horn: whenever she requires it, the horn on her forehead can glow brightly enough to comfortably read by, but doesn’t shine for any appreciable distance without reflective surfaces to boost it.

Atomic Heat Ray: (undeveloped) she is able to fire an energy beam from her mouth in the same manner as several other Daikaijumorphs, but given her lack of training, she is only able to do so under extreme circumstances.

Digging/Burrowing: as a result of her monster base, she is quite adapt at digging, and has a natural aptitude for subterranean navigation.

Enhanced Physiology: as a Daikaijumorph, she posses physical abilities that surpass “normal” humans. These include increased strength for her build, increased muscle density, improved sensory capabilities (in her case, infra-vision, and a type of echo-location for underground navigation), and an instinctive sense of direction. Of special note in this is her jumping ability, which is roughly three times what a person of her size and training should be capable of.

Horseback Riding: she has been around the animals her entire life, and has developed an instinctual method of putting even unfamiliar animals at ease with her unusual self. Also included in this is her knowledge of how to use a lasso, as she has assisted in the past with bringing stray’s back to the herd.

Weaknesses:

Naiveté: being home schooled all her life until being allowed to attend the academy, Candi’s social skills are lacking in areas where the publicly schooled have long since learned when someone is “yanking their chain” or otherwise trying to put one over on them. As a result she is already developing a mostly undeserved reputation for gullibility. Unfortunately her attempts to correct this seem to just make matters worse.

Candi suffers from a handful of stereotypes given her background. Her “Texan drawl” and preferred “cowgirl” mode of dress outside of school uniform are indicative of one, while her “Good Girl” personality is another. While she’s not a “dumb shit kicker” (her words), or a “goodie two shoes” (again, her words), she does seem to be giving several people around campus just those impressions.

Candi’s father was loving and doting, up to a point, because he was also highly protective of her, and given the general levels of intolerance around the time she was born, this is understandable. However it led to her being his little princess, trapped within the confines of his kingdom. When business realities prompted him to open his ranch to vacationers as well as the staple cattle business, Candi was allowed her first real interactions with outsiders. It’s a testament to the girls sunny personality that she is nearly always taken to immediately by new tour groups, and helps the general fix-it-man, Earl, keep everything running smoothly for them.

The arrival of Rain and the others granted the girl her first glimpse of the larger K-morph community in the world, and her father is waiting with more than a bit of trepidation to hear back from her every week to make sure she’s still doing alright so far from home.
