It's amazing how much this sums up my view of most photos on Dev. Especially the Daily Deviations.
And it's a real pity. Especially since there are many great photographers on here.
All that being said, I don't know much about composition. I see photos as "pretty pictures" more than someone who studies photography. Still, there are some photos that are certainly artistic and make me smile/feel/emote in such a way that I know work went into it. Those are the ones I like.
