so, a few months ago me and Eli had this really cool idea for a ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen. the main idea being that every pokemon has one or both of it's types changed. the games story would probably be the same, with some slightly changed/added dialog here and there. we were honestly thinking of making this an actual fan game and even downloaded some of the programs needed to do so, but we sadly ran into technical issues. either way, i got really attached to the concept and wanted to share it with you guys and see what you think!

Divelett and Divetrio are water-type versions of Diglett and Dugtrio, they're essentially little worm-fish-things that travel by digging under the ocean floor. in hindsight, i guess it would have made more sense to make them water/ground, but whatever. i also have no idea why they're pink, i think i just liked the color scheme.

grass-type versions of Charmander and Charmeleon (working names were Flormander and Flormeleon, respectively, though i don't really like them) have plants growing on their tails at i assume would eventually go from leaf to bush to flower bouquet/bush. i did do a sprite edit of grass-type Charizard, who'd probably be grass/flying or grass/dragon, but i couldn't find a color palette i liked that fit the pokemon, so i gave up.

Bubblesaur is either a water or water/rock version of Bulbasaur. it has a fountain thingy on it's back that squirts bubbles. i don't really have much else to say about it, sorry :/

ghost-type Eevee is called Eevo (Eli's idea, not mine). Eevo is the ghost of a (usually very sad) dead pokemon who wants a body (flesh puppet?) and a new chance at life. if it possesses a cloud (Swablu skin?) it evolves into Griffeon, a flying-type version of Flareon. if it possesses a poisonous object (black sludge?) it becomes a poison-type version of Jolteon called Toxeon. we also had the idea of a dragon-type Vaporeon, but i never got around to editing the sprites for it. i quite like this one, it's dark but i find it cute in a weird way.

Pikacute is a fairy-type version of pikachu, though we also discussed making it normal-type, since fairy-type doesn't exist in 3rd gen ROMs or most pokemon ROM hacking programs. it's cute, pink and loves everything, though it'd probably be less good in battle, compared to regular pikachu.

Grownloof and Barkanine are normal-type versions of are the Growlithe line. i made them normal type for three main reasons:
- cute small slobbery puff dog
- cute large slobbery puff dog
- STAB extreme speed
that is all

i might have to draw these guys again some time or even expand on it if i feel like it. feel free to tell what you think or even leave suggestions for type-swapped pokemon.
