Real Name: Jover Tol
Aliases: Raptor, Short Round (by his brother Raymar), John Johnson (terrestrial name).
Age: 15.
Height: 165 cm.
Weight: 58 kilos.
Planet: Thanagar.
Affiliations: the Wingmen, the Steel Wings, the War Brothers, the terrestrial academy of non-human children, the Drove.

Story:
He and his brother Raymar were the last sons of a family of formidable warriors. Raymar was a good friend of Katar Hol's (Hawkman) and this brought Raptor to pass his initiation rite (in which he had to choose his weapons) fighting against the Hawkman. Katar gave Jover the first mace he used when he was Jover's age. Katar remarked "it [the mace] reflects and amplifies his rageful fighting style". Jover fought in the young group of the Wingmen (in which Raymar fights too) and then was granted a place in the Steel Wings, an army of three formed by the most skilled fighters in Thanagar: himself, his brother and his friend Ulan Hel aka Shrike.

Jover then decided to visit the Earth (like Katar) to travel and try new experiences. He found out that there was a school for non-human teens and there he became the last member of the Drove: a team of teens that would later become his best friends.
