The night was calm, as Rose flew across the land. It’s been a few weeks since she escaped that horrible place. She had been laying low and hiding all that time. It felt nice to fly in the dark with her dark blue wings where no one could see her. She practically blended in. She soon spotted a small lake and decided to take a quick break and get some water. She landed and trotted over only to freeze in place. Another pony was there. They hadn’t noticed her yet. She quietly took some steps back only for one of her hooves to step on a fallen branch. At the sound of the branch breaking, the pony practically whipped around and a soft red light came from their horn. Roses eyes went wide with fear as her eyes locked with a set of red eyes with pupils of a bat pony. The pony was an alicorn mare with blue tipped wings and blue and pink mane and a different colored tail. Instead of pink and blue, her tail was a gradient of purple and blue, with a single light blue streak in the middle. Rose tried to talk only for nothing to come out. The alicorn mare stared at her and finally spoke “Who are you?”
