I used to be in love with pyromaniacs, so that's why my username in most things is Nik0maniak. Also why am I up this freaking early? Also also this sounds like some TF2 stuff, but I promise it's in no way related to TF2 lol (I did take some inspiration from it for the outfit though). But anyways, this is what commander Niko would be doing if she hadn't changed her mind about being a sniper.

What happened was that the person who started taking care of her used to be a formidable man with the flamethrower. Back in his day, almost no one would want to be one, so out of the few people who did, he was the best. Afterwards, he went up in the ranks and so on. Little Niko looked up to and respected him so much that she wanted to become a pyro as well, as great as he once was, to make him proud. Niko greatly qualified to become one, and she did, but it didn't last long. She found out her true passion was the sniper, and she excelled so much in it that they offered her a higher rank if she transferred. It was a hard decision for her because she wanted her caretaker to be proud of her, but she really wanted to be something else. Eventually, he found out about her true feelings, and told her she didn't have to follow in his footsteps to please him. He was already proud of what she had accomplished this early in her life.

Niko would have eventually become commander had she stayed pyro, but it would have taken her way longer to do so. She also would have probably never gotten close to Viktor, since they are in such different divisions. Also, she still has this uniform stashed somewhere in her closet lol, maybe forgotten by the many troubles she's been through lately.
