Personality: Sable is very quiet and reserved. Being so heavily protected by her parents and isolated by others, she doesn’t know very well how to act in social situations by herself. Because of this, she may come off to others as a bit odd due to her behavior. She doesn’t speak much, but once she gets to know someone, she’s very talkative and even a little obnoxious. Weird to some, cute to others, most people aren’t fortunate enough to see the love and care Sable shows her Pokemon.
History: Born to the gym leader of a less-fortunate town called Audraella, Sable has always been protected by her father. When she was a little girl, he gave her an odd-colored Axew as a birthday gift. She became very attached to him, and took him wherever she went. It was what allowed her to catch her very own Pokemon, a Sneasel, who she would also fall for. Her mother was just as protective; however, she was killed by a mysterious ghost Pokemon in the Crystal Cave. Sable was there for this accident, and thus witnessed her mother’s death. The already quiet girl was absorbed into an even more secluded shell and became obsessed with the Pokemon who hurt her mother. Against her father’s demands, she often traveled to the caves in which her mother died in order to find this Pokemon. She had no intentions of hurting it, as she loved Pokemon and was more afraid of it than anything, but her hope was for some sort of closure or grand discovery. She always came out empty handed; the biggest reward was the friendship and eventual “capture” of a Snorunt.
