AU:Celeste ends up confessing to Ron during the summer via a letter but Fred and George find it first and tease him solid about it.
Once he returns to the following year of Hogwarts. He admits he feels the same way.
In AU Ron and Hermione realize they work better as Friends and Ron tells her that he views Hermione as a sister.
Hermione respects his wishes and is still there when Lavender breaks up with him.
I haven't decided who Hermione ends up in this AU tbh... even though I do like her shipping with Draco or Pansy D:
