Description

Bowman is certainly an on-the-nose name considering he’s the team’s ammunition and weapons manager/maker.

Bowman also comes from the same planet as Torque and Velocity, but is a different species. His species lives underwater and is heavily based off of the Japanese mythical creature, the kappa. However, instead of a bowl on his head, he has a bowl cut. :’)

Bowman is the third highest rank on the ship aside from Captain Velocity and Commander Torque. He is in charge of managing any weaponry on the ship. However, he is actually very attentive to others’ needs and enjoys making his crewmates personalized weapons. He definitely has the brains and resources for it.

Bowman’s strengths include being incredibly smart and resourceful, observant of others’ behaviour, he is very protective of those he loves, and is always honest.
Bowman’s weak points are that he snaps easily, thinks he’s better than most, is brutally honest and often hurts others with his words.

Other info:

-Bowman is at peace when working alone, but the exact opposite when someone else comes into his workshop, whether it’s to bother him out of boredom or to simply get him a cup of coffee. He gets rather angry when this happens.

-He always tries to correct Velocity and isn’t afraid of giving criticism. He sometimes forgets that he’s supposed to actually listen to his captain.

-He’s rather introverted and slightly snobby, and some of his sass rubbed off onto Torque. He never sugarcoats things, and it often results in others getting hurt. Every time this happens, he feels immense guilt, yet he repeats the mistake sooner or later.

-As a kappa, he is very handy with machinery and other technology. We've decided that he will be carrying a backpack with him everywhere he goes. He also loves cucumbers. Take his cucumbers and you die.

-He is terrible at close quarter attacks and flying anything. And driving. And taking compliments.

-Fun facts: Bowman likes to meditate underwater. He also has a nickname that won’t be revealed yet, but he hates it.
