Welp, I'm starting off with the one artwork per week challenge. This is the first artwork to go (A merge of sketches). This week I was challenged to do an expert sailor with a nicely trimmed beard, and a receding hair line. The first attempt (Bottom Left) of drawing was something I was messing around with, and didn't use any references. Just used whatever I knew from my head. The second attempt (Top Left) I was a bit more serious when drawing/sketching, but didn't use any references. The final, and third attempt (Bottom Right), I took it more seriously than the last two and used references to help me. Hopefully one day I can look back on this and laugh at how silly this looked, and how much I've improved. Thanks for reading, God bless.
