Fang pointed out most of the problems. something I'd like to add is that the fire of a meteor (which is BTW mostly vapor and gas rather than real fire) comes from the whole body of the rock, rather than just from its tail. It should be engulfed by the flames.
also, splats look awful, and what fang said.

To me it hardly looks like the flames come from the rock .. In fact doesn't really look like flames imo . Also that thing that I suspect in the sun or just a light source .. The wire frame ruined it . Also move the rock down a bit .. Like diagonally right and down . Maybe 15 degrees or something .
