Look at me, I'm using fancy words and everything. Looks like I turned into a overly introspective artist asshole after all. Guess its just unavoidable, children!Anyways, this was a little thing I had to do for my Drawing and Characterization class. We were working with the idea of iconic simplification, which basically refers to removing any extra features of a form, namely my face, and stripping it down to the basic ideas and stereotypical features that we all as people recognize. Out with the complex details, just the bare simple stuff. This is a sort of 5 step progression of that idea. Twas a fun project, the first of many.

I aproove! I had to do something similiar to this... Except we had to distort a picture of someone (not neccesarily ourselves) Until it became cubist/piccasoesque.

The first two I can't deal with at all, and the fourth one is like art from a crappy webcomic. I don't know what to think of five.
